calls for Lane Kiffin's resignation. WTF, another reason why I can't stand Al Davis, what a freakin moron. There has to be something that I'm missing. What did he challenge Al Davis' authority and try to do something without his permission. Does anybody know or heard anything about this.

It's official, Count Chocula has lost it......Some one needs to put that old fool in a nursing home. Basically, Kiffin wanted to fire Rob Ryan(Buddy's son, the D coordinator), and Al took a poll of players most of whom said they prefer Ryan. Davis apparantly has went as far as drafting a resignation letter and presented it to Kiffin's attorneys. That has been the problem with the Raiders for years, Davis meddling and players going over the coaches head because they knew they could. Truthfully, the Raiders won't do anything as long as Davis is alive.

Its time for the league to force this jackass to sell the team. Hes bringing what used to be a storied franchise down.

I agree, Davis is a cancer. It is time for the mob to take him out :cheers:

I have never like him from day one but to pull this after his first season just goes to show he has lost his mind. The players are never gonna respect their coach if they can go above them to get what they want. It is becoming harder and harder to be a Raiders fan these days.

You know, Davis was the biggest reason that Marcus Allen didn't perform up to everyone's expectations when he played. By the time he went to the chiefs, age started becoming a factor in his ability to play. Davis needs to just die.

I also wonder why the NFl owners can't make him do something like force him to retire, like MLB made Marge Schott retire as the Reds owner/ceo when she made the "infamous" racial slur. Actually, now that I think about it, the MLB owners forced her to sell.
